Annual Survey of Incorporated Service Sector Enterprises (ASISSE) Workshop Conducted in Chennai

The Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation (MoSPI) organised an All-India Workshop of Trainers (AIWOT) for the Annual Survey of Incorporated Service Sector Enterprises (ASISSE) in Chennai on 29 January 2026.

The service sector is the largest contributor to India’s GDP. However, detailed data about the corporate service sector is limited. To solve this problem, the government introduced the ASISSE survey.

The National Statistics Office (NSO) will conduct the survey.
The survey period will run from 1 April 2026 to 31 March 2027.

• Excludes unincorporated service enterprises
