Overview

This Privacy Policy describes how Udyo ("we", "our", or "us"), developed and maintained by Aleti Srinivasarao, collects, uses, and protects your personal information when you use the Udyo mobile application ("App").

By using Udyo, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information to operate and improve the App:

• Account Information: Name and email address when you register or sign in
• Usage Data: Features you use, quizzes you attempt, and time spent in the App
• Device Information: Device type, operating system version, and unique device identifiers
• Study Data: Your timetables, study logs, quiz scores, and progress records
• Notification Preferences: Your choices for push notification settings

We do not collect sensitive information such as financial details, government ID numbers, or precise location data.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect solely to provide and improve Udyo's services:

• To create and manage your account
• To deliver daily job notifications, current affairs, and quiz content
• To save and display your study progress and quiz scores
• To send push notifications for job alerts and study reminders
• To analyze usage patterns and improve App performance
• To respond to your support requests and feedback

Third-Party Services

Udyo uses the following trusted third-party services that may collect data as part of their operation:

• Google AdMob: Displays advertisements within the App. AdMob may collect device identifiers and usage data to serve relevant ads. See Google's Privacy Policy at policies.google.com/privacy
• Firebase (Google): Used for authentication, database, and analytics. Data is processed in accordance with Google's data processing terms
• Firebase Cloud Messaging: Used to deliver push notifications to your device

Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored securely using Google Firebase infrastructure. We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted data transmission (HTTPS) and access controls to protect your information.

While we take reasonable steps to protect your data, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. We encourage you to use a strong password and keep your account credentials private.

Your data is stored on servers located in accordance with Google Firebase's data residency policies.

Data Retention

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with the App's services.

• Account data is retained until you delete your account
• Study logs and quiz scores are retained to show your progress history
• Usage analytics are retained for up to 24 months in anonymized form

Upon account deletion, your personal data will be permanently removed from our systems within 30 days.

Your Rights

You have full control over your personal data. You have the right to:

• Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
• Correction: Request correction of any inaccurate or incomplete data
• Deletion: Request deletion of your account and all associated personal data
• Opt-Out: Disable push notifications at any time via your device settings
• Data Portability: Request an export of your study data in a readable format

Children's Privacy

Udyo is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal data, please contact us immediately at hello@udyo.in and we will delete such information promptly.

Advertising & Ad Personalization

Udyo uses Google AdMob to display advertisements. AdMob may use your device's advertising ID to show you personalized ads based on your interests.

You can opt out of personalized advertising at any time by adjusting your device settings:

• Android: Settings → Google → Ads → Opt out of Ads Personalization
• iOS: Settings → Privacy → Apple Advertising → Turn off Personalized Ads

Opting out will not remove ads from the App, but ads shown will not be based on your interests.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. When we make changes, we will update the effective date at the top of this page and notify you via a push notification or in-app message.

We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of the App after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.

Governing Law

This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of India, including the Information Technology Act, 2000, and applicable data protection regulations. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Andhra Pradesh, India.
